The key piece to the 'fun with Magnetic Poetry on-the-go' however, is the addition of a Magnetic Board. We carry them in two sizes 9.5 " x 12" (best, in our opinion, for all modes of travel, as it fits easily in a standard-sized kid's backpack) and 12" x 16" (a larger surface, more suited for vehicle travel or home use, or rig it up on a stainless steel fridge and NOT feel out of the loop!)
We carry a variety of Magnetic Poetry items for kids (click on any photo above for more details) OR, see all of our Magnetic Poetry Items HERE
- ABC 123 has over 1" square pieces with single letters or numbers on them, great for those early spellers
- Adventure Storymaker (and there's a 'regular' storymaker set too) is the perfect set for those ready become a magnetic 'author'
- sets that help teach a language (Spanish or French)
- "in other words" teaches synonyms
- first words and REALLY BIG words are similar, the major difference being that the REALLY BIG WORDS are physically larger pieces, and more easily maneuvered by small hands. The Really BIG Words also come in their own ready to go tin!
- the Monsters & Cuties set has pieces to make funny 'cute' monsters, for those not wanting to construct things with words, letters or numbers
What do you have to do to enter the GIVEAWAY? Simple. Just leave a comment below (if the comment box is not showing, click on # comments)=with your email contact (spell it out if you don't want it to link, for example folks@kidstravelhappy.com = folks at kidstravelhappy dot com). We want to hear which set you would want and why, or tell us what your 'magnetic poetry' story would be about. Each of the photos are linked back to our site so you can check out more details of each.
Thanks for playing and good luck! Winner will be announced on June 1st!

These sets are great for classroom use, as well. I often like to have a couple of travel-sized games around for my students because they can be pulled out and put away quickly. They like to use them when the weather is bad or when they only have a few minutes and then can be resumed later.
ReplyDeleteI would like the first words set for my son. He knows his letters and is on his way to reading, so this would be great! Thanks for the chance to win!

I would like the ABCs or Really big words since my little guy can't even read yet, much less make poetry!!
ReplyDeleteI would love the "Kid's FIRST Words Kit". I have a nephew who just turned 5 and will enter kindergarten later this year. His sister is 6 and will start 1st grade. I think this would be a fun learning tool for them. They have vivid imaginations and would probably have a monkey and frog dancing on the moon.
ReplyDeleteThank you,

ReplyDelete22luvroses22 at gmail dot com
What a great gift! I am always on the lookout for inventive ideas to increase the size of my kido's craniums. The REALLY BIG WORDS sounds really cool and I appreciate the simplicity of your blog! (other's get way too busy.)
ReplyDeleteI would choose the First Words kit for my daughter. She LOVES reading and has started to repeat the sentences when I read. She also loves to "read" to her little brother using the pictures or what she can remember from when we read it. I'd love to start teaching her the basic words and I think this would be great. We're planning on taking a mini vacation on the train and this would be a great portable activity. stormyd9@att.net
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the French set. It would be absolutely perfect for us as we are raising our children bilingually (French/English), but I have not taught them how to read French yet. This would be great! Thanks!
ReplyDeletelmarston (at) yahoo (dot) com
I'd pick the Spanish words kit so I could teach my daughter some words in espanol other that taco and quesadilla (she knows those already!)
